Sztof, one of the most distinctive voices of the contemporary Polish blues-rock scene, will perform on July 25 at the Summer Stage of KATO Blues FACES.
The band will arrive in Katowice with material from their 2025 album “Dwunasty rozdział”, which strengthened their position as one of the leading representatives of Polish southern rock.
For over a decade, Sztof has been performing across Poland, steadily building their brand and recognizable sound. The band’s name, derived from the Masurian dialect and meaning a quarter-liter of vodka, perfectly reflects their musical temperament — strong, honest, and warming.
In recent years, they have gained recognition at major blues festivals such as Las Woda & Blues, Blues nad Odrą, Kapusta z Bluesem, and also reached the finals of the Rawa Blues Festival.
Their music is an original blend of blues, rock, and country, creating a unique Polish take on southern rock. After the well-received debut “Najważniejsze rzeczy” (2023), their second album “Dwunasty rozdział” presents a more mature sound, more personal lyrics, and full control over their style.
At Staromiejska Street in Katowice, the audience will hear both tracks from the latest album and selected songs from their debut. Sztof is known for energetic concerts, natural ease, and authenticity — attracting fans of blues, rock, and country alike. This is a band that doesn’t imitate American patterns — they reinterpret them, creating their own distinctive sound.
