An evening at KATO Blues FACES once again turned out to be something more than just a concert. It was a meeting full of emotions, warmth, and that unique energy created by both the musicians and the audience. Your reactions showed us that what happened on stage moved not only us — and that is what brings the greatest joy. What is most beautiful, however, is that once again we hosted artists who return to us with genuine pleasure. Each of them has already been part of our story, each has left a piece of themselves here — and each one came back. For us, this is a great honor and proof that KATO Blues FACES truly has its own unique atmosphere.
This was an absolutely exceptional evening — filled with that elusive magic that appears only when the right people meet in the right place at the right time. An evening full of humor, musical freedom, and familiarly reinterpreted cowboy-and-Indian songs.
Red. Chirowski, the heart and driving force behind the whole event, led the concert with his characteristic ease, humor, and a spark in his eye. His voice and guitar set the tone for the evening, creating an atmosphere of freedom and genuine joy of playing. Once again, he proved that American ballads fit perfectly into Polish realities — especially when delivered with a wink and a solid dose of looseness.
Between the songs, there were also short recitations from the still-unpublished volume “Wersy Żebrane”, which added a touch of literary playfulness and subtle humor. Thanks to this, the concert became not only a musical but also a verbal encounter with the artist.
Robert “Rupert” Pyrek added warmth and color — his keyboards sounded so rich they could have warmed the entire club. His sounds opened up space and gave the music an additional dimension. Piotr Rożankowski held the foundation that pulsed throughout the evening. His double bass sounded confident and smooth, as if the instrument were a natural extension of his hands. Without that depth, the concert would not have had the same character. Paweł Jurczyk, in turn, brought lightness, danceability, and a touch of madness. His accordion could be both delicate and fiery, and the audience responded to every note with clear enthusiasm.
It was an evening that will stay with us for a long time — thanks to the musicians who create magic and thanks to you, who know how to receive and return it. Thank you for your presence, your energy, and for creating together a place worth coming back to.
